This NVR is capable of recording 4K resolution at 15 frames per second. This provides superior clarity and smooth on-screen motion, which will help you capture the details and moments that matter most. A further advantage of 4K recordings is a greater ability to digitally zoom in on distant objects. This is because 4K recordings contain 4× more pixels as 1080p HD resolution. So the image will retain clarity for longer as the digital zoom is applied, giving you a better chance of usable evidence.

Smart Motion Detection helps identify more important objects that enter the camera's field of view*. Thanks to this innovative feature, you will only get a push notification to your Lorex app whenever a person or vehicle is detected on your property. This effectively reduces the number of unwanted false alerts caused by moving branches or animals. All recorded motion alerts can easily be reviewed by using the Smart Search function in the Lorex mobile app.

Compatible with Active Deterrence Cameras

This NVR works with select active deterrence cameras. This means you can add cameras that feature both motion-activated LED warning lights, which can be customized to be manually activated, triggered by motion or always on, and a remote-triggered siren that you can control from your Lorex app. You can also use the panic button located on the front of the NVR to trigger all deterrence lights and sirens.

Two storage bays

This NVR comes with two separate hard drive bays. Each of which can be upgraded with a hard drive up to 8TB, giving you the potential for a total of 16TB's of storage space. You can also use the second hard drive to record videos in parallel with the primary hard drive. This way, the footage is automatically backed up if the recording hard drive fails.

This NVR can be used without being connected to the internet. This means that your data can only be accessed directly from your NVR. However, an internet connection is required to enable remote viewing, motion push notifications, and to download the latest firmware updates.

1. 4K (8MP) IP cameras are required to take advantage of 4K recording.
2. Recording time may vary based on recording resolution and quality, lighting conditions and movement in the scene.
3. Fusion™ capabilities are limited to 2 wireless devices per system. Wireless devices require an available channel on the NVR as well as a sufficient signal strength between the device(s) and your Wi-Fi router for video streaming. 4. Controlling certain features in your security system requires a compatible smart device. Availability and performance of certain features and services are smart device dependent and may not be available in all areas or networks. 5. Accuracy of Smart Motion Detection will be influenced by multiple factors, such as the object's distance from the camera, the size of the object, and the height and angle of the camera. Night vision will also impact the accuracy of detection. Compatible with certain Lorex IP cameras only.

7. Accessing your security system remotely requires a high-speed Internet connection. Ensure your NVR has a wired connection to a router (not included). A minimum upload speed of 5Mbps is recommended for reasonable video performance. Up to 3 devices may connect to the system at the same time. 8. HDMI output supports 4K HD for high definition multi-channel live or recorded video viewing. Image quality and resolution is dependent on the type of camera connected to the NVR, as well as TV/monitor resolution.
9. NVR has a total PoE power output of 130w. Different IP cameras have different wattage specifications. Please double check your camera specifications for power consumption (Wattage requirements in order to not exceed the NVRs power output availability of the recorder vwhen adding cameras. Please see compatibility chart.
