I have sent back the
"I have sent back the unit as you approved. It did not work AT ALL! After wiring it in it could not even operate the interior chimes which proved to work with the old system. I spent a total of four hours with your agents to make it work with no luck. I made a 2. 4 and a 5G system but still would not pair. And your installation manual was disjointed about step progression. Never Lorex."

"I've nothing but problems with this device. Three calls to support have not solved the problem. Trying to connect to support is a nightmare. Last support call they asked for model number and serial number. And here I sit with a broken device and no return follow up. You can't even create a support email on the site. I would never recommend Lorex just based off the poor support they offer. I want to use them but not now, I recommend another device and with better support if needed, Very sad,"

Not really happy with the
"Not really happy with the camera. Camera takes a long time to load when someone presses the doorbell leaving them hanging around for 10 seconds or so before I can talk to them. I have fiber so internet speed is not the problem. Video quality is fine."

I've used other doorbell brands
"I've used other doorbell brands in recent years at different locations. I went with Lorex doorbell in my current location because I have Lorex security cameras inside/outside. Having the app already and just adding the doorbell was a simple task. The doorbell works great. Loads and responds accordingly. Clear videos day and night. Lights up when motion is detected. Especially at night when you can really see it well. Spoken with the delivery driver , communication was nice and clear . I didn't have a lag as I had with other doorbells. Recording works great. Im able to retrieve my recordings easily. The one thing I do know the Lorex doorbell camera needs is improvement on it it's coverage viewing. It's not enough of a wide angle. In comparison to other doorbell devices I have used. Overall it's a great device."

So far, the third time
"So far, the third time is the charm. This is my third Lorex wired doorbell and the first (so far) that works consistently. I also prefer this aspect ratio and people don't look like they're in a carnival mirror. It was super easy to set up too. My one complaint with Lorex is their app. It just isn't very user friendly and the timeline feature needs an overhaul. I have six Lorex cameras (including the doorbell), and the app is always the problem. This doorbell is great though, and I would recommend getting it."

I’ve used Lorex hardwired cameras
"I’ve used Lorex hardwired cameras for over 30 years without problems. The WiFi version was nothing but frustration. Difficult connecting to WiFi, never able to connect with support help. I purchased a WiFi flood light camera I returned due to the difficulty connecting to WiFi I didn’t want to try. I will stick to the hardwired systems which I will purchase in the future."

Im really disappointed the 4k
"Im really disappointed the 4k resolution is not true is most like 1080 resolution. Not wide enough I hope to get a replacement to see if is the current unit that is bad. The app sucks notifications not working."

Overall great product. Picks up
"Overall great product. Picks up good images and motion. Only issue is that sometime the App classic stalls out and needs to refresh before being able to watch video playbacks."

This product has some significant
"This product has some significant issues: The first one, which may be a minor one depending on your home, is that it only comes with one chimebox. That means that if you have other chimes located in other areas of your house, you won't be able to hear them anymore. The second one, more significant, is that it is very difficult to add this device to your home network. After multiple attempts, I called their technical support, who told me that I would have to change over my network security protocols to exclusively WPA2 (which is an old standard that is incompatible with modern devices), since the product does not work on any network that uses WPA3 protocols. Even when I did this, I still struggled unsuccessfully to add the device to the network, before finally giving up and asking for my money back -- which Lorex did not agree to. Ultimately, I regret buying this product, and buying it from this company."

I had it installed by
"I had it installed by an electrician. I did not get involved with the installation. Yet, the electrician was unable to resolve these issues: 1. It will work with my existing digital chime, but it does NOT play the whole tune. Why? Is there a way to make it play the WHOLE tune? The electrician couldn’t resolve this issue. 2. Also, it needs to be more tilted to the LEFT in order to actually see who is at the door. The included tilt attachment that comes with the doorbell did tilt it slightly, but NOT enough to let me see who is at the door. The electrician couldn’t resolve this issue, either. These are important issues to me. Unless they can be resolved, I certainly wouldn’t buy this doorbell again."
