This higher pixel count also adds an increased ability to digitally zoom in on distant objects without significant image quality reduction. Get set up in an instant and stay connected with the free Lorex Cloud app. Using Lorex Cloud, you can quickly and easily view your security system remotely from your smartphone or tablet. There are no difficult port forwarding or other complicated network setups either. Simply download the free app, scan the QR code on the NVR and your cameras will appear for you to monitor or review. You can also program the app to send you motion-activated push notifications and email alerts with screenshot attachments straight to your phone to keep you connected to your property at all times.
Continuous, scheduled, and motion recording options
This NVR can record footage continuously, during scheduled times, or when movement is detected. These recording modes can be customized with each camera as well. A 5 second pre-recording function is also built-in for motion recordings. This means that you will never miss those first few vital moments of movement.
HEVC / H.265 video compression
This NVR is able to receive HEVC (High Efficiency Video Encoding) or H.265 video compression files. This type of encoding can save up to 40% more space when compared to H.264 Advanced Video Coding. Please note that IP security cameras with HEVC video compression are required to take advantage of this feature.
