IP Security Systems
IP Security Systems use a Network Video Recorder (NVR) and IP Security Cameras. Cameras are connected using a single CAT5 (or greater) ethernet cable. IP Systems offer professional-grade surveillance for businesses and large homes.
Analog Security Systems
Analog Security Systems use a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) and Analog Security Cameras. Cameras are connected with a siamese BNC coaxial cable. Analog systems provide around-the-clock security recording and are great for homes, small businesses, and rural properties.

Wire-free security camera systems from Lorex use battery-operated security cameras that require no cables to connect them to either their recorder/hub or to power them. Wire-Free Cameras remain on standby until motion is detected. They will then wake up and start recording.
